For this project, we were asked to create a seasonal brochure for Theatre Erindale at University of Toronto Mississauga. The program director wanted this brochure to demonstrate a balance between cohesion and variety, and making the plays seem attractive to young people. Since the theme of this year’s plays is Battlelines, the most challenging part of the design process was to incorporate the theme of conflicts and war, yet still making the theatre program seem welcoming.

Through carefully selected photography, each imagery gives a glimpse of what each play is about. The white strips on the side of the page and the unconventional cropping of images are used to add an element of threshold to the design.
